Pasión Por Tango, "downtown tango", is an exciting creative centre for tango in Auckland.

The spacious studio with beautiful wooden floors is on level 2 in the Barrington Building, 10 Customs Street East , just down from the Mercure Hotel close to Britomart train station.

This studio offers argentinian tango lessons in a variety of tango styles - Tango Salon, Tango Milonguero as well as offering workshops and tuition for small groups. Argentinian teachers Karina and Fabian Conca, Hugo Fernandez and Janelle are hosted for workshops during the year. Currently Maida Zanaboni, Grant & Karyn Fromont and Sooty Love are teaching classes.

Founding artistic director for pasion por tango, tango show dancer and teacher, Diego Echenique is now back in Argentina.
